As we edge ever closer to the Detroit Auto Show, we are starting to get a better idea of what General Motors are planning for the event. The all-new Cadillac ATS we already know about, having been confirmed by GM Senior Vice President of Global Development Mary Barra last week, and the latest news is that the American manufacturer will unveil a new global production Buick crossover looking something like the Envision Concept pictured. The model will likely be based on the same long-wheel-base Theta platform underpinning the Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain, and take design cues from the Buick Envision Concept. A production version of the Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept first seen at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show will also be unveiled and will take the name Sonic RS; while room will be made for two Chevrolet concepts taken from their North Hollywood design center.
