Taking good pictures of your car is easy!
Check your resolution. Set your camera to a low or medium resolution, which is ideal for the web. For example, if you have a 5-megapixel camera, make sure it's set down to around 1- or 2-megapixel (minimum 800x600 pixels for best results). High megapixel photos translate to large files which take a long time to transfer to the website, and in some cases can be too large to transfer at all.
Get good angles. Take the first picture from the front of the vehicle, but from a 45-degree angle so that you get both the front and side of the vehicle. Then take some photos from the sides, rear, and interior to give customers a good "feel" for what they're looking at.
Save copying time. Many cameras allow you to access the pictures on them by simply browsing the pictures as files on your computer. If your camera supports this feature, you can save time by uploading pictures directly from your camera instead of copying them to your computer first. |
